Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Orange, Ginger, and Basil

The brussels sprouts train is rolling through town. You’ll want a ticket.

You should know by now how much of our heart is reserved for brussels sprouts. Plain or dressed up, we’ll always take them.

By using the Sweet Orange dressing from Bro Joe’s Lil’ Dressings, these came together with minimal prep work. Plus, we knew what we were getting in the dressing. Alternatively, you can make your own orange vinaigrette at home, or use your favorite brand (check labels for vegan GF). In any case, check them out for dressings. Know what you’re putting into your body, and feel good about it!

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Place Brussels sprouts on a large baking sheet. Drizzle with a glug of olive oil, lighten season with salt, and toss to combine.
  3. Spread in an even layer, and roast until tender, approximately 18-20 minutes. While the brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the sauce.
  4. In a small bowl, combine ginger, vinegar, dressing, and basil.
  5. In a large bowl, combine roasted brussels sprouts and sauce. Toss to coat, and season to taste with salt.
